News› Local Dairy Cream of the Crop!Taunton based dairy Tower Farms have won the Gateway Trophy with their double cream at this year’s Royal Bath & West show.Overcoming stiff competition from other leading dairies Tower Farm’s double cream was judged best in class before going on to win the trophy for the best overall entry in the cream classes. After collecting the award Managing Director Geoff White commented “that this award is recognition of the high quality, traditional local product that Tower Farms produce.” He also expressed “hope that consumers will buy more locally produced food because you can’t beat it for quality and freshness.” Tower Farms award winning double cream is available in their farm shop at Deans Cross, Lydeard St Lawrence and from selected local farm shops and farmers’ markets.
