› Taunton firms team up to Triumph

Tower Farms Cheesemakers from Lydeard St Lawrence were delighted when their new cheese and butter packaging, designed by Taunton based Quantock Design, was awarded a first place and a second place at the Royal Bath & West Show 2007.

When Tower Farms decided to update their packaging last year they decided to work with a local firm who could help them communicate their core values of traditional dairy products made with locally farmed milk. So they turned to Taunton based Quantock Design Consultants who have a wide range of experience in the Food and Drink sector.

Quantock Design have developed six new cheese labels and two new butter labels. The design includes Willett Tower which overlooks the cheese dairy and incorporates the important PDO symbol - a mark which guarantees authentic local produce.

Tower Farms managing director Geoff White said "I'm delighted with the finished product and the judges at the Royal Bath & West show obviously agreed!"
